The Friends of the Little Miami State Park (FLMSP) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to maintain and improve the 50-mile Little Miami State Park paved trail. We work closely with the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources to preserve the park’s natural river setting while creating a safe, enjoyable experience for all trail users.

FLMSP conforms to the highest industry standards applied to non-profits, making it well qualified for grant consideration and for donor confidence. The Friends volunteer their labor and skills because we love the trail and want others to enjoy it as much as we do!

Consider joining us on—or off—the trail.  We're always looking for volunteers.  You can pick up brush and litter on an Adopt-a-Trail team, share a special skill or resource in Special Ops, or help promote our work in the community and through media. Everyone is welcome; every effort helps.  The amount of time you devote is always your decision, and your work will always be sincerely appreciated.

South Lebanon: Construction is in progress on the South Lebanon water and sewer system west of S. Main Street in South Lebanon.  While the Little Miami Scenic Trail will remain open at this location (MM 34.0), the contractors will be using the bike trail to access their construction area.  Watch for and be cautious around the construction vehicles in this area. 

Spring Valley: The trail is open at S.R. 42 overpass (MM 7.0)    

Corwin: The trail is open at S.R. 73 overpass (MM 14.5).  

Trail Condition:

Trail under I-71 Jeremiah Morrow Bridge (MM 22.1) Trail slippage on east side of trail due to undercutting by creek.

Trail Between Hedges Road and Richland Road (MM 4.5) Trail slippage on east side of trail due to undercutting by Glady Run.

Trail south of Spring Valley (MM 7.5) Trail slippage on west side of trail due to undercutting and failure of culvert outlet.

Repaving Fund Raiser: Success!

To the user's of the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail, THANK YOU. With your help, Friends of the Little Miami State Park has successfully secured funding to repave the 40-year-old section of trail between Morrow and South Lebanon. The bumps, cracks and holes in this 3-mile length of trail present inconvenience and a safety hazard to all trail users.
