The O'Bannon Creek bridge, on the trail just north of downtown Loveland, will be closed for replacement beginning March 6, 2023. The old bridge is nearing the end of its life expectancy and will be replaced with the pictured bridge, more environmentally-friendly as it has no support structure in the water below. The bridge will be closed approximately 2 weeks, will reopen for about 6-8 weeks, and then close again until October. There is no designated detour; crossing O'Bannon Creek during the closure would involve using roads with vehicle traffic.
